About the HouseA Modern Architecture design in Costa Rica's premiere resort, Peninsula Papagayo, integrated into a sloping and undulating terrain to achieve a feeling like the house is peeking out from the treelines. Overlooking the 17th tee of the Four Seasons Costa Rica Arnold Palmer signature Golf Course the house is elevated to enhance privacy from the golfers and at the same time achieve spectacular tiered views to the golf course, jungle, bay and open ocean in the distance.
The house was built with a sensitivity to its impact on the environment. No additional land was trucked in and no land was trucked out. Nearly all the materials were sourced, built, and purchased in Costa Rica. The house was designed and built by SARCO Architects. SARCO is an architectural firm established in 1972, and provides services for the design and construction of some of the best residences in Costa Rica. |
